Description
Seville under the moonlight by Andrea Mazzocchetti
Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is a city full of art and history, but above all full of charm. Strolling through the streets of the old and characteristic Santa Cruz district at night, you can see times and snza views, which go back centuries, as if you were in a daydream. Here we are in the historic center, in the shadow of a silver moon, with before us the imposing façade of the ancient cheisa of Santa Cruz, in Calle Mateos Gago. Originally the parish of Santa Cruz was located in the ancient synagogue, but was destroyed in the nineteenth century by the French. For this reason its headquarters was moved where it is today, in the ancient convent of the Clérigos Menores. This was built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
