Description
Seville, Plaza de Santa Marta
We are located in the Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, behind the monument to Pope John Paul II, and to the left of the Convent of the Incarnation. We enter a narrow alley that, after a couple of nooks and crannies and a small shutter, leads us to the square in this photo
It takes the name of the old Hospital de Santa Marta (founded in the 14th century), which was where the Convent of the Incarnation, previously mentioned, is currently located. The Augustinian nuns who came from the Convent of the Incarnation (19th century) were welcomed in this hospital.
