The fantastic "Rocca Calascio" castle one of the highest castles in Italy (1512 meters) located in the National Park of Gran Sasso and "Monti della Laga". founded around the year 1000, the original structure was even in Roman times. Its purpose was to control the surrounding territory (valle del Tirino and Altopiano dei Navelli).
